Terms & conditions for bar owners
These terms govern the use of Match Table by bar and venue operators (“Bar Owners”). By creating an account you accept these terms.
1. Service
Match Table is a SaaS platform that lets bars list their venue, select which matches they show, and receive table bookings from customers.
2. Pricing
Pro plan: €49/month. Featured Monthly: €29/month. Featured per-event: €5 one-off. Prices are exclusive of VAT where applicable.
3. Billing
Payments are processed via Stripe. Recurring subscriptions are charged at the start of each billing cycle.
4. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No refunds are issued for partial periods.
5. Customer payments
Match Table does not collect payments or deposits from customers on behalf of bars. Any deposit arrangement between a bar and its customers is the bar's sole responsibility.
6. Listing accuracy
Bar owners are responsible for the accuracy of their listing, including venue details, opening hours, amenities, and which matches they broadcast.
7. Booking requests
Every booking a customer makes is a request. It is not confirmed until you accept it, from the link in the request email or from your dashboard, and the customer is told either way. A request you have not answered one hour before its start time (kickoff, or the customer's arrival time if earlier) is cancelled automatically. You choose how long before kickoff online bookings close (at least two hours) when you set up Pro. By confirming a request you commit to holding that table for the customer at the confirmed time; if you can no longer honour it, contact the customer as early as possible and then cancel it in your dashboard, giving a reason. The reason is emailed to the customer.
8. Listing removal
Match Table may remove or suspend a listing for: materially false information, repeated customer no-shows attributable to the bar, or substantiated complaints about the venue experience.
9. Limitation of liability
Match Table's total liability arising out of or in connection with these terms is capped at the fees paid by the bar owner in the 12 months preceding the claim, except that nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by Match Table's negligence, or for Match Table's fraud. Match Table is not liable for the bar's service, the customer experience, or match broadcast issues.
10. Data
The bar owner agrees to Match Table processing booking data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. EU consumer protection rights are preserved where applicable.
